Father’s Day Gift Ideas to Make on Your Cricut

Father’s Day is just around the corner and you just realized you still need to get something for that father figure in your life. Father’s Day gifts can be tough, and you want to move beyond the gift cards you got him the last 3 years running. Of course, the first thing you thought of was to start a new project with your Cricut machine. But then reality hits you. I need the perfect Father’s Day gifts! What am I gonna make on my Cricut? It’s okay – we’ve got you. You need a thoughtful gift – one that becomes one of his favorite things. We got it. You want fun gifts and handmade gifts. We’ve got those too. Here are some great Father’s Day gift ideas that you can make on your Cricut. So start up Cricut Design Space and let’s start making some Dad gifts!

Engraved Grill Spatula

Most dads take pride in the grilling-of-meat rituals that happen around the fire they produce in the backyard. Don’t question the rituals, but definitely help them partake! The first of our great ideas is to spruce up his grilling equipment! Use your Cricut Maker to engrave a grill spatula to make that personalized perfect gift just for him.

And before you ask, no, this probably won’t make him a better cook. We can’t do anything about the hockey pucks he calls hamburgers. We can give you a recipe for a darn good burger and a fantastic steak, though. Every little bit helps!

Dad-Wit T-Shirt

I know… dad-jokes are the best. And, really, there’s nobody better to wear them than Dad. So drum up some of that dad-joke wit and make a Father’s Day shirt! You can use get your Cricut EasyPress and EasyPress mat out and use heat-transfer vinyl OR make it o-so-professional and use sublimation ink. Either way Dad’s gonna love it! And really, these are gonna to be fun for the whole family (says the dad).

Here’s an idea for that Star Wars fan in your life (with a little sprinkle of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody on the side).

His Favorite Coffee Mug

For the Dads who like coffee, sublimation Father’s Day mugs are a great gift idea. Sublimation mugs are really cool and everyone wants an excuse to use their Cricut Mug Press, but how many mugs can you really make (and use)? Here’s your excuse to make one that counts – the Father’s Day mug. You can use his favorite colors and go with the classic “Best Dad Ever” or you can personalize it just for him. For me? I like to go back to the ’70s with the Eagles and “Take It Easy” with this travel mug.

For the Dad who doesn’t like the coffees (do those exist?), you can also use a sublimation water bottle as well.

Stickers to Label His Workbench

We all love stickers, don’t we? Well, dads are no exception. You just need to find the right stickers for Dad. He could probably use some help labeling all those jars of nails and screws he has sitting around his workbench in the garage. It’s time to print some stickers and get out your Cricut to do some cutting! This will work with the whole line of Cricut machines from the Cricut Joy to the Cricut Maker. The best part? Dad gets a little more organized for his next DIY project and you’ve found a great way to make more stickers.

A Sign That Makes Him Smile

A sign that reflects the personality and heart of the person who uses it is a great option. It’s like a flag that flies in their personal workspace that tells everyone a little something about them. It can be humorous, serious, or just a reminder that someone cares. It’s up to you. I have this gem hanging on my wall in my work space. If the dad in your life is a Douglas Adams fan, and you’d like the svg image for it, you can find it in our shop.

Homemade Father’s Day Sign

Of course, while you’re at it, it would be a good idea to also make him greeting cards from you and the kiddo. These are just some of our Father’s Day Cricut ideas to help show Dad you care. If you’ve got more, we’d love to hear about the great things you’re making in the comments below!
